Gregg Olsen has a way of grabbing a hold of you in his writing and this new book is no different! You think you have figured the plot out and then another twist has been uncovered! Enjoyed the book, you will too! This book was a big disappointment. I was ready for a thriller trying to find Sophie and her kidnapper. What I got was a book full of terrible characters with no redeemable qualities. After Sophie got kidnapped it pretty quickly morphed into a history lesson of her and her husband's life but nothing was relevant to her kidnapping. It was a bunch of cheating adults who refuse to take any responsibility for their infidelity. And to top it all off, after Sophie is gone, Adam decides he can't raise his 3 year old daughter without her and wants to put her up for adoption. Once this happened, I couldn't feel even a little bit sorry for Adam's character. Do yourself a favor and skip this poorly written book that ended up being a total waste of time. I literally couldn't power through the last two hours of the audiobook.
